I'm crazy for all this trivia-searching, now that it's been started on the main community. So, I open the discussion here as well, on a slightly different topic.


karinablack asked about Slytherin, and what it means to be Slytherin. I think. At least, there are over 100 comments to her two posts on the subject weighing in on it!

But what about the other houses? What traits are essential to them, and what do they mean?
Is it just what the Sorting Hat says? Or are there other traits inherent in each house?


My question to all of you is: What does being a (insert your house here) mean to you? What traits do you think are essential for a member of your house to have?
