which of you all do those? what is supposed to be on them- clubs, classes, etc.? how long would it take to make one? since i'm 26 in real life that would make me 7th year in this world, right? (so i'm 17 or 18 at hogwarts something like that)

Just wondering, but did anyone offer to do those Student ID cards again? I've heard that several people offer to do them here, but i ahven't seen any and would like to have one. Any way I can get one?

Howdy everyone. A very merry Hogsmeade Weekend to ya'll!

First, a thwap to the head my congratulations to the snaky people. Is that the best you can do? We did better, we shall get you back, we shall eliminate you, resistance is futile! You did an excellent prank *grins*

Anyhow, the actual reason for this post... HBP comes out this summer (in 140 days, if I counted correctly...), and if I recall, JK Rowling said that at least one another is going to be leaving us. Though we all know Sirius is not dead, right?

So, whom do you think will be kicking the bucket in Book 6, and will be missed in Book 7? Any thoughts as to how he or she will pass, and why JK Rowling would kill him or her in HBP and not Book 7?

Where is everyone making the dolls at? I tried to make one the other day, but the site wouldn't let me save it! If it saved anything, it was just part of the doll's outfit.....is there a way that your supposed to save them??

I've decided to make custom signatures, they're not quite ID's since they don't have stuff such as clubs/activities on them but I hope at least someone likes them enough to want one.




I've made sample signatures for each house with the house colors. Although you may want green and silver to match your common room ^_-

I hate to ruin the awesome prank the Slytherins pulled, but it was bound to happen sooner or later.

It was mentioned in an earlier post about starting up some of the clubs that appear on the student ID's. I'd love to start a Charms Club here and if I need to talk to any of the mods here at Hogwarts is Home then I'd love to. Here are my idea about the clubs so far:

One for each of the subjects offered at Hogwarts you could talk about the different subjects, spells, teachers, the theory involved, etc, etc...

Drama Club: Maybe we could make up some wizarding plays. There are bound to have been a few. Maybe put a wizarding twist on modern plays. Like Rent taking place in a loft near the Leaky Cauldron....

Just some ideas, hope they see the light of day.

The dolls are so much cuter than I really am, but I think it's still a fairly accurate representation. I had to make two cause I couldn't decide between hairstyles and outfits :P

So, this is just my first week in the community and I'm wondering... can anyone set up a shop? Do you need to have knuts to do it? Do you just make your post or do you need to apply somewhere? Is there a set amount that should be charged for goods and services performed? Inquiring minds wanna know....
