For those of you who loooooove stamping, you might check out hpotter_elite Basically it's a bit like our new stamping community, but there can be only one person stamped as each character. And once the slots are full, your place can be challenged!

This isn't meant as a post to compete with hh_stamping or anything, and I think it'd be ultra kewl if we could become affiliates! Basically, it's a place to post art and stories and just hang with people and chat. Maybe even do a little roleplaying, who knows! So if you're interested, you might go take a look!

Well, not REALLY.

Although I have dressed as a Harry Potter character before, I doubt I could pull off a Harry.

Which brings me to my questions for everyone here.
Have you ever dressed as a Harry Potter character before? If so, who? And for what occasion?
Mind sharing any pictures?
(You could also share pictures if you just happen to look like a HP character as well)

As for me, my answers are as follows.

I've dressed as Bellatrix for the opening night of Goblet of Fire in my hometown.
Unfortunately, the pictures of me in the full costume haven't been developed yet, so the best I can do is crappy webcam pictures, which were contrasted a bit to death as the wig kept trying to put a shadow on my whole head. :(

( The pictures are behind here, as I didn't feel like angering anyone's friends pages with such things and/or protecting viewers from my scary head. )

Which HP Kid Are You?

I'm not entirely sure if this is allowed, but I will delete if it's not. :)

This is an Marauder Era RPG I'm starting, so I figured I'd pimp it out before the Hogsmeade weekend is over. :) Again, if it's against the rules, I can delete the post. Hope I haven't stepped on any toes or anything. <3

This is a Harry Potter RPG set in the Marauders' fifth year at Hogwarts. It won't be explicitly canon, so we allow some freedom for playing with the characters. There may be mention of Voldemort at some point, but the game won't revolve around him so much. It's more about the interactions between the students as they live out their adolescence. [corny annoucing voice] We have TONS of characters still open, including Lucius Malfoy, the Prewett brothers, the Lestrange brothers, Amos Diggory, Frank Longbottom, Regulus Black, and many, many more! [/corny announcing voice] We're in need of characters from all Houses, so there's plenty to go around! We are starting the game tomorrow (February 20), so you will get to start fresh. We've all talked about what our favorite and least favorite books are in the HP 'verse, but what are your favorite moments? What was the exact moment you knew you were in love with this series and world that J.K. Rowling created?

Mine was when she wasn't afraid to kill off the last remaining link Harry had to his father. Sure, there's Remus Lupin but they were never as close as Sirius and James. The gumption it took to actually traumatize Harry even more killed me. Crimity, it made me sob for a half-hour. But still, I knew I would stick to this series.
