Welcome to Hogsmeade!! Hogsmeade is now open for visitors!

I hope you all are as excited as I am! There are many fun and exciting activities planned for you to earn points for your house and knuts for yourself!

Please feel free to make social posts for fun and to get to know your fellow Hogsmeade-goers. Anyone can post, so don't be shy.

Here's a reminder of the basic rules of Hogsmeade Weekends:
• All points earning activities will use the "official points-earning activity" tag and must have "Official Points-Earning Activity" within the subject line.
• Please place all large graphics (larger than 350x350) under an lj cut.
• Play nice! No house bashing or person bashing.
• And HAVE FUN!!

The Community is now open for posting :)

Hogsmeade will be giving out a bonus 20 points/10 knuts to everyone who participates in all of the points-earning activities hosted during this Hogsmeade weekend. Points-earning activities which run for less than 8 hours (in other words, the Dance), are not included in this bonus. This time the participation bonus includes fifteen activities, so you have your work cut out for you. XD

This was a big hit in the Slytherin common room when I posted it, so I thought it would be appropriate to do a similar event here. It promotes ~house unity and friendliness and getting to know each other for Hogsmeade Weekend. Make everyone feel at home and comfortable here!

Post your username here. Other members will comment and tell you what they like about you. Why you are a great asset to the community. We'll point out your strengths and boost your egos.

DON'T just comment on the threads for people you are friends with and people in your house. This is to promote unity, comfort, and new friendships. The whole purpose of this activity is lost otherwise.
