[Rules & Regulations;]
  • EVERYBODY MAY REQUEST A SIGTAG!!!!!
  • EVERYBODY MAY RESPOND WITH A SIGTAG!!!
  • 2 points per sigtag, 30 point limit (15 sigtags, but feel free to make more)
  • No Wizarding Wear bonus points :(
  • Deliver your sigtag as a reply to the request.
  • The sigtag MUST include the interest of the requester.
  • Sigtags no bigger than 470px combined.
  • Sale ends with the Hogsmeade Weekend closing post.
  • PARTICIPATION BONUS; you need to make at least one sigtag to qualify.

Sigtag makers, please read the following.
    You may not use a pre-made sigtag again and again. Like THIS;

It's a different picture, edited colors, the same image size, image shape, same font, same black bar and slightly changed position of the text.
This will NOT do. Tags will be compared for source image, font choice, and overall design. Any sigtag found to match a previous creation by the same person on more than one of the three criteria will not be counted for points. The first tag will count, but repetitions of it will not. Any questions about the suitability of your tag, please ask. For ideas check the first ever Sigtag Sale. For spiffy free fonts visit Da Font.

    Wanna have an original sigtag?
    Fill this in and post it as a new comment;

    -x- Maaike of Ravenclaw

    ICON WARS

Icons are like your second face on the internet. If you want to be smartass, you whip out your 'I HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BAMF' icon, and if you want to express utter shock or surprise over something amazingly stupid, you whip out your icon of a certain anime character freaking out. Bam - that's your method of free expression over the internet.

Either start your own challenge thread and select your first icon, or reply to another's and keep the fun going strong. No text is needed, though '.' and '~' (and subsequently, other symbols too) are allowed so that you can post your comment. Your icon speaks the rest for you, so you're forbidden to type any words.

EDIT: I feel your pain free account people. No, really. Only fifteen icons? *cries*

Every day we warm ourselves by Fire,

    Wash ourselves in Water,

Feel the Wind in our hair,

    Walk upon the Earth.

As recently as only a few thousand years ago, many Western scientists believed that the whole of the earth was made of four elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water.

Earth represents practicality, stability, materialism, realism.

Air represents intellect, reason, human communication, social relationships.

Fire represents passion, energy, impulse, enthusiasm, inspiration, idealism, faith.

    Water represents emotion, mysticism, intuition.

Keeping these elements in mind, how do you think they relate to the Potterverse? To the houses of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin? How do they relate to HiH?

Discuss to your hearts content, but be on the lookout for what might come next. For if you are brave enough to face the obstacles ahead of you and successfully complete all four, you will be admitted to the Order of the Wand.

(Which is in no way official here at HiH, it’s me and my twisted imagination that is plotting.)

Activity: Let's Change History (History of Magic, Hogsmeade style)

Ends: August 23 at 9PM CDT

Points: 5 points per comment, no more than 30 points given.

Bonus Item Points: Will be awarded to those on the Roster. However, everyone may participate. Check to see if you're on the roster (or sign up) HERE.

Details: I will post (in separate comments) on events or other such details that could have changed from what really happened in the world of Harry Potter.
Members are to respond to the events with what could be a possible effect the change has on today/whenever. They can be serious or for lulz, sensible or nonsensical, doesn't matter as long as you keep them appropriate.

You don't have to respond to all the situations in order to gain full points; extras are given mostly so that there's more to pick from. :]

(Remember, changing things could have effects on things that we never even thought of. For all we know, if Voldemort had gone after the Longbottoms instead of the Potters, Gilderoy Lockhart may have married a pixie. Anything is possibly.)

Don't forget to sign with Name and House so I can reward points.
