Question Time...
Ok...

If you were to go to Hogwarts would you bring an animal? And staying in true cannon (and forgetting about Wormtail being Ron's pet) which would you bring, owl, cat, or toad?

Me being a sneaky bitch, I'd probably let my owl fly itself to Hogwarts so it didn't look like I brought it, and I would bring one of my cats.

I don't know.. I'd probably bring either an owl or a cat.

But I think overall, I'd want my cat with me. :P An Owl would be nice, too.

YES! I would definitely bring an owl. In the real world, I have no pets, so of course in the fantasy Harry Potter world, I have to. Owls are beautiful, functional, loyal, affectionate, and just all around cool. I'd definitely get one. I wouldn't bring a cat because I could have one in the real world, and I DEFINITELY would not want a toad. So, an owl it is..

I'd so bring a cat. I could a Hogwarts owl to send mail, but having a cat has so many other perks.

I don't like cats, so I would have to say an owl! That would be cool to have your own owl.

You know what? That's interesting because my sister has this irrational fear of birds. We went to the boardwalk near where we live, and she knocked over my french fries. Well, let's just say the sea gulls were hungry. They swooped down and started eating, and my sister had a FIT. All the tourists were watching and she just wouldn't stop screaming. It was interesting. I'm not like a birdwoman, but I've never understood why she is so afraid.

I'd probably do the same thing as you, Juppy. I'd want to have an owl because they're dead useful, but I couldn't very well leave my Lucy at home!

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but what redeeming value is there in a toad? haha.

I think I'd want a fat fluffy persian cat to curl up with late at night.

This is sort of offtopic, but I could see myself smuggling a magic carpet into school. *grin*

I think my sister and I would argue over who would get to bring our cat Molly, who acts like a human~~ XD She's so adorable, and she's both of ours. I guess we were share her like the Weasleys share the owl.

Hrm, I'd bring along an owl or some other type of bird. Maybe a Phoenix or a parrot or something. I doubt I would get many letters, so I wouldn't really need an owl XD

Ooo thinking highly of yourself by even thinking a Phoenix would pick you as a Mistress. Tsk Tsk Tsk...

With the way you worry over your boyfriends cat I'm surprised you didn't say that...

lol, I would pick some type of bird. I love birds. A phoenix would be interesting to have, but I doubt it would ever happen XD

I'd probably bring an owl. They seem to be the most useful creatures that you can bring, as well as the most loyal. Cats are my favorite animal, but I don't think they'd be very handy at Hogwarts.

I'd definitely bring an owl. I hate cats with a passion and am allergic, so no way. I like toads, but they're not as useful as owls. Owls can carry your mail, they're actually a companion (as we can see with Hedwig and Harry's relationship), they're smart, beautiful and soft. Definitely an owl.

Actually, this is really embarassing, but ever since I read HP for the first time, I've wanted an owl. Out of all the cool magical things in the book that I want to be real, that's the one I wish the most. =)

An owl. That way, the bugger can work for its living and eat in the Owlery. ^_^;

An owl because they're practical. I hate cats and what do toads do? Owls can send and receive mail.

I'd definitely take an owl... I don't care for cats, honestly, and owls can deliver mail and fairly well take care of themselves.

No problem on the G. Nazi thing. I usally can't pick out my own mistakes, and spell check is only good with words that are spelled wrong in the first place.

I would bring my cat to Hogwarts. I think my family would have an owl of their own. So they could send me letters using that owl, and if I needed to send something home, I would use one of the best school owls. I would rather just look after one pet, than two.
