I KNOW I'm not alone on this!

This has been bothering me for awhile now...

I was reading a review of the movie PoA before it came out, and the reviewer mentioned that 2 of the actors, namely Dan and Emma, were turning into beautiful young adults. I seriously sat there in disbelief. I mean, come on here! Wouldn't it hurt if you were part of a trio, and the other two were called beautiful and not you?

What bothered me most is that this is completely untrue. I will admit I thought Rupert was a bit unfortunate looking in the first two movies, but as he's grown up, he's become very good looking! I was shocked when I saw his picture at the premiere, because I thought he looked so hot! He might not have been the best looking child, but is he not turning into a beautiful young adult?

It just really frustrated me. And after joining the hogwarts/harry potter communities, I realize that I'm certainly not the only one who thinks Rupert has now reached hot status. I always thought Dan and Emma were good looking, but give Rupert some credit! That trio, all three included, are smokin!

::shakes fist at stupid reviewer::

Well, someone has to disagree. I really don't get the fuss about Rupert. It started when PoA shots came out and just exploded. Every time pictures would come out I would say "Wow. He looks so bad!" and then all my friends would come out with "OMG HOTT!!" I swear I was in shock for three weeks after the explosion. Never fully got over it either. I think part of it is the hair and part of it is his clothes. Oh, the clothes. So I can understand why he wouldn't be mentioned as "hot" or "lovely" or whatever the reviewer said. However, I would like to say that I think he's the best actor of the three before all the Rupert girls throw everything they own at me.

Heh. I have to disagree, too. I love Rupert as an actor because he plays Ron so well, but he is definitely not hot or gorgeous. He looks frankly odd. I think it's good that not all the trio are drop-dead gorgeous. It's more realistic.

Although it's pretty cold of someone to publish that. >.<

And as a side note, the Weasley Twins in POA were hot. It was the hair. >>> I must have weird taste :)

all three of them are beautiful people! for different reasons- emma has a lovely smile and bright eyes, dan has a gorgeous hair/eye combo (blue eyes,off black hair), and rupert has great red hair and a great smile too. i think all three of them were cute kids to begin with anyways and now thry are looking more and more grown up.

I say Dan and Rupert are pretty equal in how 'hot' they are. Personally I think Rupert is better because his great acting filters in with how hot he is.

Rupert is cute, as is Dan. However, Dan has more mainstream-type good looks, so I can understand why Rupert gets pushed in the background so often. It's a shame, but it happens.

I think I'm one of the few who finds Emma Watson so vapid and annoying that whatever cuteness/attractiveness she may have doesn't even register with me. I watched an ABC special where Dan and Rupert were commenting on the emotional nature of the third film, and she interrupted them to say, "Yeah, it's emotional, and Hermione gets to wear jeans." ... I don't even need to comment on that.

Secondly, her cuteness is totally lessened by her apparent need to pose like a Calvin Klein model whenever she's just standing around. She didn't do that in the first two films, why start now? An excellent example is in the hospital wing, when she puts the Time Turner around hers and Harry's necks. I don't know what she was trying to do, but she needs to stop. Argh.

Wow, maybe this comment has very little to do with your original post. I swear, in my head, there is a connection between the two.

Personally, I don't think Rupert is 'hot' or anything. But he's got a different face and a cute personality about him, which I find makes him attractive. xP If that makes sense...

Well, first off, I don't really think Emma and Dan are all that great looking. Perhaps it's just me, but whatever. They are, what I would deem, 'cute', but definitely NOT beautiful.

Second off, I don't think Rupert needs a reviewer like this to tell him how gorgeous he's gotten, because really, he's got fans all over the world to tell him that, although he might not believe them. The reviewer's probably biased towards Dan and Emma, but you know, people ALWAYS tend to forget about Rupert.

Third...well, nevermind. I don't have a third. But Rupert is abso-freakin'-lutely gorgeous and beautiful. But ya know, that's probably because I'm biased...and I always had a thing for redheads. ♥

I think they're just mad cause Rupert always looks like he wants to get away from interviewers (haha) while the other two spill their hearts out for them. Anyway, in my opinion, Rupert is the hottest so pshwaa ;].

I don't understand why people think Dan is so hot. He's incredible pale and creepy looking. Rupert is like 392842309 times hotter. But that's just my opinion.
