Weasley Wannabe
So I've been reaaaally seriously considering dyeing my hair red for awhile. Since I read Anne of Green Gables, really. And now the Weasleys have spurred me on even more. Does anyone have any recommendations for good, natural looking red hair-dyes?

Thanks!

I use Feria, although I've never gone for the Weasley red. I like the depth of the colour, and it doesn't dry my hair out. :)

I wish I had some suggestion as to what color would be good. I actually did something similar- I put red streaks in my hair because (a) I've always wanted them and (b) I love Ginny Weasley's hair. I didn't have the courage to go all out though and dye it all red.

Good luck with that!

Well....I haven't had my natural color in YEARS...so I've used just about every brand out there. I like Hydrience (I'm not sure if thats the spelling of it or not) mainly because a lot of the dyes smell like baby oil, so you don't end up stoned from the smell of peroxide. It also doesn't really dry out my hair, but everyone would be different on that aspect, as everyone's hair is different as well.

For a bold red that looks natural, I use L'Oreal Paris Intense Red Copper (RR07)

If you're not looking to go bold, something like Nice N'Easy Auburn or Natural Red (110 or 110A) should do the trick.

Keep in mind though that colours vary from person to person. Something that looks natural on you might not look natural on someone else and vice versa.

What's your natural hair colour?

I've used Garnier and L'oreal and I have to say Garnier is better *it smells better too hehe* - of course I dye my hair black and my natural color is brown (i think) so you can't really tell if the dye faded/worked all that much. But yea..just know that if you have dark hair you should bleach your hair first cause the color wont come out the way you want.

Ehh I don't think bleacing is a good idea. Not everybody has really strong hair ad it could seriously ruin it. Besides if yu have darker hair it sometimes bleaces orange

i don't really need to worry about bleaching anyways :) i've got sort of light-brown, dirty-blond hair
