Art

I love fanart, but I can't really draw. Instead, I make more physical forms of what may be called fanart. I just finished my most recent piece, and I would love to take this opportunity to show it off! ^^

For note, monitor resolutions may make the colors look differently than they really are. They are the official Slytherin colors. I made this for a friend since I am obviously not in Slytherin. I am working on my Gryffindor scarf now. I can't draw or make icons/graphics to save my life, but I hope this is considered to be HP related art as well.

[ETA]: It is the scarf in the picture that I made, not the actual picture itself that I am referring to. ^^

Thanks, though I never considered myself a photographer. lol. It was the scarf that I made that I was referring to. I am much more of a craftsy sort of person when it comes to any type of art. Crafts sometimes don't strike me as art. >

Thanks! Ya know, I thought about selling them, but I'm afraid of opening up the offer. If real life didn't get in the way, I could finish one in a couple days easily. This one took me almost a month. At that rate, I could maybe sell 5 before christmas! lol.

lol...same here...i actually found silver and not greyish yarn for my scarf and made mine...and my sister's is made from grey chenille yarn, which looks rather silvery...took me forever to make them b/c i've got so many projects going on as it is.

Crafts are DEFINITELY art ^_^ and the scarf is lovely.

Really, in my art appreciation class (college level) we studied crafts as art.

I'm not much of a drawing person either, but I love to do arrangements and photograph them. I wanted to do something like you've done here, but I just don't have the time anymore. I just got on tonight to visit!
