Get Ready to Chortle Your Bum Off
I present to anyone who hasn't all ready seen them:
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Bootleg DVD Subtitle Blunders!

It is hilarity at it's finest so don't have anything in your mouth while viewing the screen caps. Invite friends over to read them with you and watch the hilarity ensue!

WARNING: Some of these subtitles have harsh language. If you don't want to read anything with gutter talk in it, then don't click on the link.

Now after you have looked them over, post your favorite subtitle blunder. We'll see what the favorite is.

Oh, and if anyone has bootleg subtitle bloopers of PoA, post them, post them, post them!

Professor Mike by far. I am sorry but Maggie Smith doesn't quite look like a Mike to me...

oh man, there are too many to name. "look at my magic stick", "there are 7 melons who saw you", etc etc. HILARIOUS! I remember seeing a site that did that with LOTR: FOTR bootleg subtitles and it was so hilarious. I have a SS/PS bootleg with horrible subtitles as well but I turned them off to tell if they were really hilarious or not.

XD~
I think my favorite is Vernon saying "You will surely die!" and the one with Harry and Ron flying in the car and the sub is "oh shit!" You know that if HP wasn't intended as a book for kids that's totally what they would have said! Oh god, seeing LotR bootleg subs would be a treat as well...

That's hilarious! I have a PoA bootleg. Some of the names are:
Pettigrew: Bety
Scabbers: Cathy (WTF?)
Lupin: Lupong

I can't think of the rest at the top of my head.... I'll post 'em up later.

That's my favorite too! The screen cap just goes so perfectly with the sub. That and I love the "oh shit!" one with Harry and Ron flying in the car. XD~~~

Yes the bootleg versions of the movies with the wacky subtitles do infact exist. Look for them on Ebay or something and I'm sure you could get them shipped to Canada.

Not really... I think I bought the few bootleg DVDs I have for around $15, but they aren't Harry Potter. Probably the most you'd spend would be around 20 US dollars.
