How has Harry Potter affected your life?
Just curious, but how has Harry Potter affected your life?

For me, it brought me closer to my best friend as a very similar interest. It also brought much more joy and humor, as my brothers LOVE spoofing it and making my family laugh. I have also met people who like Harry Potter, and I have become good friends with :)

So, how has this series affected your life?

Although Harry Potter has made me happier and has let me enjoy life more, it has allowed me to make some of the best friends I've ever had on the official Harry Potter message boards. Although they are online friends, they've been there for me through thick and thin and have proven to be amazing people for two and a half years already.

I can't really say I've made friends from it, but I've become closer friends with people because we share the same interest in it. It's also affected my reading because I tend to re-read the books over and over without reading anything else new sometimes. Also, the first time I went to a different state without any adults just to go to the PoA premiere. Good times, good times.

Harry Potter opened my eyes to fantasy books, and just reading in general. I am SO thankful that I stumbled on the first book when I was 11, because otherwise I'd still be going around thinking "movies are cooler anyway." It was just that one book that made me want to read everything
