Career Advice in Order of the Phoenix. Fred and George's amazing farewell stunt had me cheering outloud. I also enjoy Snape's Worst Memory because we got a whole buncha Marauder love. :P

Oh, geeze. You just reminded me of two more chapters I love! I can't pick just one. I have about 5 different chapter favorites in OotP. Overall, my favorite book is GoF, but my favorite individual chapters come mostly from Order of the Phoenix, if that makes sense. I love Snape's Worst Memory because of the Marauders, but then I love The Only One He Ever Feared and The Lost Prophecy.

It's so impossible to have ONE favorite! I refuse. :P

one of my favorite chapters is in OoTP "The Lost Prophecy"
it's where dumbledore finally explains everything to harry and u go from hating dumbledore, to finally understanding him, and then feeling sorry for him and loving him again. this is one of my favorite quotes (that isn't funny):

"Harry looked up at him and saw a tear trickling down Dumbledore's face and into his long silver beard." page 844

i dunno why, but all of a sudden i just totally forgave dumbledore for totally leaving harry in the dark all those years.

My favorite chapter has to be Christmas on the Closed Ward, ch 23 of OotP

I love the scene where Harry's confronted by his friends about how stupid his worries have been, particularly when Ginny reminds him that she was possessed by Voldemort (something I was waiting to be brought up in the books), also the whole thing with Gilderoy is great, Not to mention the run in with Neville.

Career Advice as number one, but Snape's Worst Memory is a very close second.

It looks like most of the favs are from OOTP. Now next question. Would everyone agree that OOTP is your favorite HP Book?

no i didn't really like order of the phoenix as much as the goblet of fire. harry was being really bitchy in ootp, and it annoyed me. a lot. my favorite book is goblet of fire because it has a lot of action that was spread throughout the book. ootp had action, but it was concentrated near the ending. it was a lot of information and emotion to take in.

yeah, i love OotP, and harry's attitude didnt really bother me bc i woulda prob been the same way lol, but GoF is my favorite book too....
and thats why if they ruin the movie i will be really pissed
