Two things

One, if you're in Slytherin please drop by the house site. I'm a total ass-clown and only you can help me (and us).

Two....(now stop me if this isn't proper hogsmeadeweekends posting)

LET'S BUILD A SNOWMAN!
Let's build a snowman!
We can make him our best friend.
We can name him Tom or we can name him George!
We can make him tall, or we can make him not so tall.
Snowman!

He'll have a happy face, a happy smile, a happy point of view.
If you build me a snowman, then I'll build one for you.

What's yours like?

Calvin & Hobbes <3333

I couldn't find mine because it was in a book of Garfield comics. I'll describe the strip. Basically, Garfield's building this snowman, and when he's finished, Jon goes outside and sees that all the snow's gone. He then looks up, and freaks out, because Garfield took all the snow on their lawn and built it into a HUGE snowman the size of their house XD

I helped build an 8-foot tall snowman at 2am this morning. We made him on a golf course and included a stick for him to golf with. He wore my Gryffindor toque and Slytherin scarf. He stood beside a large snow statue from someone else, of a type that is not appropriate for discussion here. It was my biggest ever snowman, and I loves him to melty bits.

Mine's a real-life snowman, because I don't really read comics anymore....

*cough* I really did include my name and house in the other comment. Yup. It's just in super-de-duper invisable ink. I hate when I can't hit stop quick enough to stop the comment going through.

Calvin and Hobbes!

I don't make snow men. I make snow bunnies. They only require one and a half snow balls and you can make a ton!

TEH SNOW BUNNIEHS WILL EAT YEW!!

Okay, this is one of my childhood stories, so take a cookie and listen:

When my grandparents were still alive I wanted to build them a snowman in their garden, but the snow was not really sticky and I couldn't form a proper ball. So I used a bucket und built a snowman on the bench on their terrace. I made it so that it looked as though he was sitting there comfortably. In the end I used some twigs to make a face and my grandfather gave me an old hat of his for the snowman's head. It looked quite good actually.

The next morning they had a call from their neighbour telling them she had woken up, looked out of the window and seen a frozen man on their terrace!!! She was about to call an ambulance when she noticed it was only a snowman... yeah, well... :D

I like to rock the anatomically correct snowpeople. No, I don't mean genitalia. But you knowI used actual hair that I scalped from people, attached earlobes like mine, bellybuttons...the whole frozen nine yards.

Okay, I was kidding aboot the hair.

I tend to remember fondly another C&H snowmen one, but I do love this one..

But alas, it has been a long time since I have seen snow, and a longer time since I last built a snowman (I, too, live in Australia, and since it seems to be stuck in the 30s (or high 80's, & 90's) at the moment, it's a bit too warm for snow. Not that we get it here anyway...)

:( I join the ranks of the snow-free, I live in Malta (props to anyone who knows where that is). I've only seen snow once in my life; when I was a little girl and we went to Turkey we spent a day in the mountains, but I don't rememeber it so clearly, I was only 6 or 7.

Luckily, though, I'l be off to Toronto in a week and it'll be SNOWY AND COLD WAHEEEEEEEEEEEY!

Snow? What is this snow you speak of? *lives in Jacksonville, FL, where the last time there was a two-minute snow flurry, all the bridges shut down for the day*

I'm surprised no one is familiar with the song I was referencing.
