HiHRPG POST
{I won't be around this weekend much, due to being in the process of moving out of my dorm right now, and then I'm going to visit friends to celebrate their graduating from college, so play nice, as I won't be aroudn to moderate.

Also, just a quick note on something I noticed last time-y'all do remember that you're students, right? Thus, um...underage for firewhiskey and probably not particularly likely to be visiting the Hog's Head?

Anyway, other than that, go to.}

It's a lovely day in Hogsmeade. The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and as the school year winds down, some students are studying like mad in corners whilst others stretch their legs and run about the village.

I check my pouch and sigh. Even if I COULD go to Hogsmeade, I don't have any money to spend. Shrugging, I pick up my Transfiguration text, a teacup, and my wand, and head to the library.

While everyone is excitedly greeting each other and making plans for what shops to hit up, I discreetly loosen myself from the throngs of the group. Carefully I pull my cloak up to cover my hair (being a redhead can have its disadvantages) and wander away before anyone can notice me. Periodically I look over my shoulder to be sure no one is following me. Finally, I arrive at the grimy door of the Hogs Head.

The best thing about the Hogs Head is no teachers I think to myself.

At the bar, I order a firewhiskey. From my pocket I pull out an empty butter beer bottle and a funnel. Quickly I pour the firewhiskey into the bottle. Leave the empty container on the bar, pay for my drink, thank the bartender and make my way to a table in the corner. Can't be too careful I think to myself, Last time I actually ran into another student here.

I pull out a journal and quill, (more to look like I'm doing something than to actually do something) and settle into "people watching". As I take a long sip off my bottle I hope that I'm not very noticable.

I know I should be studying. But, for some reason, the weather has been so incredibly nice, and I just want to frolick. Is that so much? I didn't want to go to Hogsmeade. I'm broke. It would only make things worse. Besides, being a Slytherin who liked to torment younger students was always fun.

Poking my head from my room, where I have been holed up for the past months, I glance around. It has been a while since I last went to Hogsmeade, since I had been working on my recent obsession, trying to find a way to hex computers, so they would work at Hogwarts. Five months into my project, and I had nothing but a bunch of fried motherboards and melted monitors. It was very lucky that I had managed to figure out how to transfigure new parts... otherwise I would have to stop experimentation, due to lack of something to experiment on.

Anyway, deciding that I need a break from my failing project (which might I add, was not helping my schooling at all), and join everyone else. Throwing some clothes on, and running a much needed brush through my ratty hair, (Note to self: Remember, long involved experiments are not an excuse to forgo brushing hair) I ran out of my room, and down to the horse-less carriages. Now for some fun... even if I was dirt poor. ^^;
