For those of you in the Dallas/Fort Worth area like myself (first off, GOD IT'S BEEN SO HOT!)...The Inwood is showing Prisoner of Azkaban as part of their weekend Midnight Madness series on July 15 & 16. That's a Friday and Saturday at MIDNIGHT (just in case you didn't catch that!)

Appropriate choice of days of course. Not like anyone on here isn't going to be at a bookstore, however, on Friday night.

The Inwood is a GREAT, classic theater - recently redone. You should check it out at some point if you haven't already, Harry Potter night or not.

For more info: www.landmarktheaters.com, look under Dallas.

You're in DALLAS? I live in Garland! Whoa...weird. Where are you gonna get your book?

Actually, I work in Dallas and live in Coppell. I'm getting my book at Barnes & Noble in Lewisville. Thought about going to the one in Dallas across from NorthPark (at Lincoln Park) but it's going to be mucho craziness.

I love that B&N...mainly because it's at Lincoln Park, and that cracks me up...First time I saw that stupid sign I got all confused. Then, again, that happens a lot, so no big deal. ^_^...I think I'm gonna drag my friend to that one on Friday night to get my book (she's a huge fan...but she's very reluctant to be around that many kids and she's not even sure she wants to read the HBP b/c of the ending of OotP...*sigh*)

It is a great BN because they get all the good book signing tours. My friends and I met Candace Bushnell there a couple of years ago - the writer/creator of Sex and the City.

And just remind your friend there will be just as many adult like people the night of HBP as kids. If not MORE.

Okay, you obviously live too near me to not know. Which Borders/Barnes & Noble will be the most interesting? Because the last time I was soooooo friggin' bored waiting. Nothing happened AT ALL. And it was generally boring.

And the Pachuigo's across the street? Teh awesome.

(And seriously, I went to Grapevine Mills today, and walking in the parking lot had to be hotter than the Mojave Desert, I am telling you. And those people up north complain about 93...)

LOL...I was at Grapevine Mill as well on Saturday. So funny. I actually live in Coppell. I'm getting my book at Barnes & Noble in Lewisiville.

I've only been to the Pachuigo in West Village and it's, *sigh*, so good.

Yesterday wasn't too hot, looks like today will be killer though.

I know right?! FREAKY.

West Village is my favorite part of Dallas...it kicks Mockingbird Station's ass. I work like two minutes away from WV in Turtle Creek. I love it.

Whoa! We totally go up on the roof of the parking garage at midnight for parties. The security guys know us. The last time they thought we were drinking, but it was just Jones soda. Oh, so good.

Heck, I'm a couple hours down the road in San Antonio and we've had the heat index go up to 105 already. It's hot, even with the A/C on.

[identity profile] tricknik.livejournal.com on July 4th, 2005 03:36 am (UTC)
Nervous? Why nervous? You'll LOVE IT. I went last year for the first time and while walking to the gate at Gatwick to return home I was like "would it be that big of a deal if I just DIDN'T GO HOME?" I love London. A LOT.
