I'm going to be at Ikasucon - an anime convention - with my girlfriend, who's coming from New Hampshire. :) On the sixteenth we're going to walk/be driven over to go Barnes and Nobles and stay there for the party, hopefully do the big contest thing where you give out fliers and also get our books and happily return to the convention. ^_^

And then Charlie and the Chocolate factory comes out. It's going to be a really hot week. <3

Unfortunately I live in a tiny town and I had to travel 30 miles just to order the book from a small bookstore in the mall (which has 7 stores).

Anyway, there isn't a party and they don't open until 10:00 AM, so I'll be waiting in line for the doors to open.

Hopefully I won't have to work that day because I want to read it straight through.

I hear you on the tiny town thing...I'm stuck driving 45 minutes to any town with any sort of book store, also. Wish I was still on campus...Barnes and Noble is a 15 minute walk. *sigh*

I've been in a Barnes and Noble once in my life and it was the best two and a half hours of my life. I'm going to have to live in a place with a B&N (or other big bookstore) within 25 miles, as opposed to the two hour drive I have now.

I'll be driving an hour and a half to the Borders in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho around 7pm. The party doesn't start until 9, but I figure I'll grab dinner and just poke around until the party. Once I get my book I will be driving into Spokane, Washington to pick up my grandma from the airport, then driving home to attempt the reading. I might have to sleep though...I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet about that.

Let's see... I really don't know how it's going to play out... seeing as how I just got a new job at Target, plus I deliver food at night... but I hope to be off for 9 pm, which is when the party takes place... If all goes as planned... I'm probably going to pick up my friend Sarah/wait till Sarah gets to my house... then we're probably going to get dinner, and then we'll head over to Books-A-Million. We'll do the party thing, probably stay until the party is over... and then Sarah's sleeping at my house... (that is if her mom will let).

I plan on starting the book as soon as I get it, and not stopping until I'm DONE. When OotP came out I had it in my hands at 8 am, and didn't finish it until midnight, because I ended up taking my friend Greg into New Orleans to get his brother, then got into a car accident. Yup... not this time. I'm not leaving or sleeping till I finish it. *hopefully*

See, my grandfather buys me the HP books every year one comes out for Christmas. If I read it before he buys it, I'll feel HORIABLE...not to mention he then has to think of a gift to buy :p...

So, I guess the day before HBP comes out I'll be diging a hole to hide in until Christmas :p

I will be at the san Diego Comic Con :) Scholastic will have a special booth and contests and will be giving away items, and Warner Bros. will be launching their big promo stuff for GoF. They often give con attendees the first look at trailers etc. I'm excited to see what they will do!

I'm going to be going to the mugglenet party, and while I've orderd my book so I can get it at midnight, I don't think the party will actually end then. Plus afterwards I have a two hour drive home so...I just don't think I'll sleep. Too bad they won'f have the book on tape out too.

Well me and my friend will be going to Chapters for the 10:30-midnight party, Ill steal her Scarf if i cant makeone in time. Then i think Shell buy a book while i run aroudnl ike crazy. Then the next morenign im gonna get my dad to drive me to thi place where ill get the book for half price =D (yea i know im cheap b ut keep reading) WHat else can a 14 year old do? Im getting the special editon as well ,coming on the 18th, and i have to pay for both. so in 4$ special edition + 20$ regular =60$ so its ALOT of money but worth it. Oh yea, and then ill raed it all through the surprise graduation party on the 16th
