As I seemed to have mentioned earlier this weekend, yeah Rowling needs to finish what she started here so that she doesn't have to deal with angry villagers wielding torches in the night. (Seriously even if you don't ship them it's obvious that's where things are going, so yeah if Rowling suddenly changed things there would be a lot of anger and confusion like "what was all that even for?!") ...Of course she still may have to deal with angry villagers if she kills off certain characters, but that's another matter...
