WOOOOOO! I know I'm not the only one excited about this weekend (though I may be the only one nerdy enough to have actually penned it in my day planner XD).

But let's get some rabble-rousing going, shall we? I don't know if we've touched on this in a previous weekend or not, but I'm curious to know:

Who is your favorite Secondary Character? Which scenes (if any) featuring said character did you enjoy the most? What would you like to see your character do?



I absolutely ADORE Kinglsey Shacklebolt. He's AMAZING. Really. On my first read through of OotP, I kind of brushed him off as the Genie-type (bald head, gold earring...yeah). But then I read the chapter where he freakin' OBLIVATES MARIETTA EDGECOMBE!! OMG, I fell in LOVE! So amazing. And then, to just make things even more interesting, he is oh-so-casually mentioned in Chapter 1 of HBP as being the muggle PM's SECRETARY! SO awesome! Just from this, you can tell that he's both a well-respected member of the Ministry as well as the Order.

As far as what I'd like to see him do, I'm not really picky. I'd just like to see more of him in general, being sneaky and being hella awesome for the Order. For those of you who've read my fic Forsaken *shamelessly self-plugs*, you can see that I think he was in Ravenclaw, though I have no canon basis for this other than the simple fact that there - uh - aren't many 'claws in canon and he'd be an AWESOME one.

I'm also becoming a fan of some of the 'just-mentioned' Order members, like Emmaline Vance and Elphias Doge. I think I enjoy writing them into my fics simply because we don't have a lot of info and them, and therefore I can make up whatever backstory I choose. It's lovely.

I'm also a huge campaigner for bringing in those canon students that we never/hardly ever see in the books: Tracey Davis, Daphne Greengrass, Blaise Zabini (WOOOO HBP!) and some of the older Slyths that played Quidditch in SS. LOVE playing with them in my fics!
