I can't believe I haven't thought to post this before now...
Do you have a hand-knit Hogwarts scarf?
Did someone make it for you or did you make it yourself?
If you made it yourself, did you learn how to knit so you could make it?
Any other Potter style knit items? Quidditch Sweater, Weasley Sweater, Student Jumper
I've been a knitter for nearly 20 years. It was wanting to make a Hogwarts scarf that got me involved in the fan-dom. I googled looking for scarf patterns, which led me to LJ. From the community
hp_knitting I learned of the Witching Hour, which I went to and that was the real start of it all.
I have made house scarves for a 4 houses in both styles. I've also made the House Unity scarf which the Hogwarts students wore in Goblet of Fire. I made myself a Quidditch sweater, but that was when I thought I was a Ravenclaw, so it's not in Hufflepuff colors. I also designed what I called the Dumbledore scarf, which was a purple scarf with alternating sets of bars in eahc of the house colors.
