I would say make sorting hat cookies. They dont seem like they would be too hard to shape you know? And then maybe get some icing and write H or R or G or S for each house.

Or you can always go easy and make heart cookies with shippers. ♥ Im thinking of making a castle cake and decorating it hogwarts like. ;D

I most certainly will! A friend of mine is a professional cake designer (she did my wedding cake and my moms 50th birthday cake, and my baby shower cake) I was thinking of borrowing her cake tin for a castle and some of her addons for the top. ♥ That is what happens when you are a Stay at Home Mom with lots of time. lol

I've never made any HP themed food but if you're going to make cupcakes it would be so cute to use some food coloring and frost them in house colors. Maybe even use white frosting to put a G, H, R, or S on top too.

I just had a great idea! if you are having a potter party you can do bobbing for apples. But instead call it "Bobbing for Umbridge" or soemthing to that sort. Theme? Umbridge got dunked and it is your job as a good Hogwarts students to save her from drowning?

Well, it's not a dessert, but I once attempted to make onigiri (rice balls) in the House colors using food colorings and unusual stuffings. Ravenclaw was blue dye and chopped waterchestnuts (bronze was too hard); Gryffindor was red dye and peach preserves; Slytherin was green dye and chopped apple (no peel); Hufflepuff was yellow dye and chocolate. (sweatdrop) It actually came out pretty good, though people in my Japanese class went "oO;;;".

The only thing I ever made were Ravenclaw Cookies. They had blue foodclouruing and blue icing. The icing made an R. Smart Cookies!
