I think that Sirius was a bully...and I think that the group wouldn't want to admit, as adults, that they behaved that way as teens. I think Sirius was very cruel to Snape...it actually made me dislike Sirius...a lot.

Generally, once you become an adult, you simply don't want to admit that you behaved stupidly as a teen.

Totally agree with you there! I actually didn't even think about it until I read some rant about how a person was angry at how people portrayed him in RPGs. That just crosses the line a lot.

I think the marauders were that group of guys that were popular, but were kind off offbeat. Not the football players with cheerleader girlfriends, but the motorcycle riding bad boys.

Lupid is my favorite. He reminds me of myself. More of a book loving, quieter fellow but still getting in trouble. I bet he collected stuff too. Like trinkety things, or rocks or something. He just seems like that kind of guy.

I just still see Sirius as a confused kid with a lot of bravado and the meanness that only kids have. But that usually wears off.

Peter as a scared little boy, clinging to people.

Remus as a bit of a loner, with the fear of being found out. Greatful for anything he has.

And James? James as like Sirius, but a lot more well-rounded.
