None are named after anything Harry Potter but my parakeet is named after Lestat from the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles, My Blue Beta is named after Abe from Hellboy, and my Red Beta is named after Jack Dante from Death Machine (I just call him Dante though)

I love your parakeets name! :) That's great. When I was a kid I had 2 parakeets - Izod (it was the late 70s/early 80s) and Broccoli (he was green? I don't know!).

oh yea. Abe is a real meanie too. He hates just about everyone except me. He's very protective. He hates to see anyone sit in my computer chair except for me and he puffs out his gills and swims angrily in circles lol. I love him

I don't, although I tried to get my new puppy named Fred or George, but a friend of mine has a Newfoundland named Hagrid. I haven't seen him but Newfoundlands are huge dogs, so I'm sure the name fits him perfectly!

My fish, a betta, is named George. I told my niece into naming her betta Fred. She said she would.

I suppose you could say that my black and white cat is named after Kyo from Fruits Basket...she's called Baka Neko >)

I no longer have them, but every one of my gerbils [11] was named after a character from a fandom. My favourite was Hiei.

It doesn't count, but the name I finally decided on for my stuffed penguin [gift from xenylamine] is Voldemort.

I named all of my hamsters when I was a teenager Hamlet. :) The first one liked to jump off high things and I think he was more than a little emo.

My kitten is named Dracy-poo after Draco Malfoy, but she's nothing like Draco. Usually cats are quite snob, not very loving and independent. So I thought the name was somehow right. But she's more like a dog. *points at the photo and shakes head*

I had fish named after characters but they died and i gave up on naming my fish now.

I tried to convince my mom to name her pale yellow lab puppy Draco but she didn't like the name. :/

our aby cats are named after tv shows, mostly. Nikita, Ruby and then there's Flame. The next kitten we get is going to be Cherry, after a character from Anita Blake.

Our siamese, Chatoya, is named after a character in my favorite LJS fic. we call her Toya, though. :)
