omg this is like one of my worst nightmares becuase I'd try everything in my power to get everything out if I couldn't put out the fire.

1.) All the pets (I have more than four and I'm not leaving them D: I'd put the fish in a cup though)
2.) Computer Tower (I think I'd cry if I lost that)
3.) Photoalbums/scrap books (I'm most likely fling these in the bunny cadge while so I could carry everything better...No I haven't worked this all out already...)
4.) ughh...oh! autographed CDs and what other little collectibles I could get at.

What a nightmare indeed! Since my dog is usually staying with my mother:

-my stuffed toy clown I got for my birth(!) and which is always sleeping in my bed
-the suitcase I packed a while ago for exactly that kind of emergency (I kid you not! It contains everything someone on the run might need, including a copy of 'worst case scenario: a survival guide')
-my purse
-my copy of Jurassic Park (I need to reread this regularly; also, books give me confidence)

Four ITEMS (so I'm excluding my lovely Siberian Husky, Patch):
-Laptop
-Cell Phone
-Purse (which has my car keys, wallet, etc.)
-Suitcase full of clothes and shoes (I'd just throw whatever was in my dresser or on the floor in there)

I love this activity and have done variations of it with the staff teams I've supervised over the past two years.

Presently, I'd take:

1) my computer
2) my degree (I just got it in the mail a week and a half ago, would hate to see it burn)
3) my silver photo frame clock (the clock is engraved and was given to me in honor of a very prestigious regional award--one of my greatest personal accomplishments--and has photos of both of my nieces in it)
4) my wallet

(Thankfully many of my other valuable possessions are in our unattached garage atm while I await another move next week.)

Last fall, on my birthday, the fire alarms in our building went off. And it was hilarious to see what people grabbed and brought outside with them...but here's my list (and yes, I did bring the first three with me!):

4. My Winnie-the-Pooh bear (I've had it forever and he's traveled all over the world with me...my mom really resents that the bear has been to more countries than she has!).

Seriously, though, here's my ACTUAL list. Excluding my puppeh, because that would be a given.

1. My guitar - seriously. Could not live without it.
2. My laptop w/case - I have all of my important stuff on that laptop, plus I seriously keep all of my ID/passport stuff in the case, so it's perfect
3. My photo album - if I lost all of the pictures I've collected over the years, I would seriously mentally collapse. I'm very sentimental about my past, even though I don't really DWELL on it all the time.
4. My cell phone - I have a LOT of contacts on my phone, and no home line. That's like my link to everyone.
