Quidditch!!!!
This Hogsmeade weekend we will be having a "friendly" quidditch match.

This is your sign up post. The match will be on Sunday at 5pm 4pm Eastern (I had something come up this week while I was away...sorry). If we need to we can have 2 matches running at the same time and then a championship match, all depending on how many people sign up!

There are points involved and I'll get to those later. I'm going to give a simple run down of what we'll be doing so you aren't totally blind in this...

There is ONE seeker on each team. The seeker completes a scavenger hunt of sorts that I construct and when they are done they post it as a new comment to the game entry. The seeker ONLY does this and is not worried with the "other" parts of the match, all you want to do is get your seeker search done before the other teams seeker. Once a seeker comes back the game CONTINUES until the coach (aka me) checks the answers. Then I'll call the game when a seeker comes back with the correct answers.

There are TWO beaters on each team. Each "round" of play consists of 2 beater questions and one keeper question. A beater asks a question (from a list of questions already prepared by me) to the other teams chasers and once they come back with an answer the beater replies with correct (and a new question) or incorrect and possession switches to the other team. After the 2nd beater question the keeper comes into play.

There is ONE keeper on each team. The keeper asks a "scoring" question after both beater questions have been asked and answered correctly!

There are THREE chasers on each team and the chasers answer the beater and keeper questions.

The points!

This will NOT count in the bonus points for Hogsmeade. Meaning even though this is a points earning activity we understand that quidditch isn't for everybody and we don't want you to feel turned off by having to do this in order to get the bonus points.

So there won't be any points like a normal quidditch match. However everyone who participates will get 15pts participation AND everybody on the winning team will receive 5 extra points for their house!

I'm also upping the time limits for this game.. Normally chasers have 4 minutes to come back with an answer but I'm upping that to 5 minutes since this is a "friendly" game. Also beaters/keepers usually have 2 minutes to respond with correct/incorrect and a new question but for this match that will be 3 minutes.

There is no house vs house for this match. Sign up if you want to play and the teams will be randomly assigned. I would ask that you sign up like so:

Name//House
1. keeper
2. beater
3. chaser
4. seeker

basically tell me what house you are in your name and your order of preferred positions.
a text box for your convince.

There will be a post on Saturday night with the team rosters. If we need to have more than one match or two matches at the same time we can do that too.. So don't be afraid to sign up!

Comments are screened and will only be un-screened for questions.

Congratulations, you found NICK LANG! Nick portrayed Arthur Weasley, Peter Pettigrew, Mama Umbrdige, Sorty, and Scarfy in AVPS, as well as being a co-writer and the assistant director of both AVPM and AVPS.

CLUE #9

Almost everyone's been found… but where do we look for this masterful prince? You'll have to go back a couple of birthdays to find him—any suggestions on where to look?
