What drew you to the Harry Potter fandom? I was forbidden to read them as a child, but I caught part of CoS on tv in college and was intriqued so i got the books from the library and read them all.
Other than Harry Potter, what are some of your other fandoms? The only one i am involved in so much as HP is Disney, although i avoid most communities for Disney because I am tired of seeing "OMG I LUV HSM!!!!!11!!!!">

Oh goodness, so many...I am a bookworm so read anything and everything, listed a few TV shows above , I also like Family Guy, the Simpsons, South Park, and Robot Chicken. Movies: there are many. I love spooky/horror, thrillers, historical dramas etc. Two of my all time faves are the Godfather parts one and two, and Gone with the Wind.

What drew you to the Harry Potter fandom? I've been here so long I can't even remember. My library teacher in 3rd grade got some illegal copy of Prisoner of Azkaban though, probably about three months before it actually came out (it was so badass, no cover art or proper margins or anything) and it was all downhill from there.
Other than Harry Potter, what are some of your other fandoms? Cirque du Soleil, bandom, Kingdom Hearts, The Office, 30 Rock... a pretty good handful.
Favorite Books, Movies and TV Shows? I just finished reading The French Lieutenant's Woman and it was absolutely beautiful, I highly recommend it to the world at large. Favorite movie of all time is October Sky, and I really shouldn't like The Office as much as I do.

What drew you to the Harry Potter fandom? The imagination of the whole story. I love to write but I've never been able to create a whole new world as big as this.
Other than Harry Potter, what are some of your other fandoms? Simple Plan... and I'm not actually big on fandoms other than these two. I have interests in like TV shows and movies, but none that run so deep.

Stephen King (horror, not sci-fi), Lord of the Flies is my favorite book of all time, movies--Kevin Smith, and Alfred Hitchcock (my personal Hitchcock collection is pretty impressive), almost anything I absolutely love watching movies, and Seinfeld--I own the whole series, I'll watch House, Dexter, True Blood, Monk, TOP CHEF!!!! What is your favorite part of being a member of your house? Slytherins are so awesome. HiH Slytherins in particular have a strong network and are good at keeping each other motivated. At least, that's my impression after 6 days in the house. XD I ♥ everyone I've met there.
What drew you to the Harry Potter fandom? My freshman year college roommate got me into it. XD
Other than Harry Potter, what are some of your other fandoms? Supernatural, Bones, The Big Bang Theory, Chuck, and a few other shows that I watch but don't talk about much (House, The Office, Gossip Girl, Pushing Daisies)
Favorite Books, Movies and TV Shows? My favorite books (other than HP) are the His Dark Materials books, the Kushiel series, and anything by Chuck Palahniuk (esp. Lullaby). My favorite movies are V for Vendetta, Fight Club, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (although my CURRENT favorite is Superbad, but it will never exceed the awesome of the first three). I'd kind of like to meet pre-first war Voldie just to know what he was like, but I feel like actually talking to him might be a bad thing. I don't want to be a Death Eater. >.<
What are your policies for adding friends on lj? I usually add anyone from mutual communities as long as you're cool and not going to start drama, so... basically anyone. I don't make a big deal about age things unless you really act like you're incredibly young.

What drew you to the Harry Potter fandom? I heard about the book. Heard a lot of great things, so I went to the library and checked it out. I remember sitting in the back end of my dad's truck reading the book as we were going to a library in the next town so I could find a book I needed to read for my junior year english class.
Other than Harry Potter, what are some of your other fandoms? Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Inheritance series(those Eragon books), pretty much anything by Bruce Coville, Misfits Inc, and I'm just getting into manga so right now it's Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

What drew you to the Harry Potter fandom? I had been reading the books since GoF came out, but I was never really part of the fandom until right before book 7. All of the speculation and theories and whatnot was really energizing and interesting.
Other than Harry Potter, what are some of your other fandoms? Doctor Who/Torchwood, Johnny's Entertainment, Arashi, Rainboz & Sparklz (yes, rainbowz and sparklz deserve a fandom of their own).

Books - Pretty much anything sci-fi/fantasy or historical fiction, but lately I haven't had time to read anything other than manga. >.>
