This plant has three names, all are acceptable. This plant is extremely poisonous, but offers respite to those with a monthly affliction if correctly used in a very complicated potion. Professor Snape is one of very few Potions Masters who can sucessfully make this potion.
One of this plant's names is based on the appearance of the blossoms

This animal produces a fluid that brings down the mood of the person that ingests it. This fluid is used as an antidote for the effects of eating the leaves from the Alihotsy plant.

This plant is used by sailors to ward off a disease common when you are unable to obtain fresh food at sea. Harry read about it in fifth year, this plant is used to "inflame the braine" and is used in potions intended to cause hotheadedness and recklessness.

This rodent lives on the seashore. They will attack anything that steps on them but their main diet is crustaceans. The tentacles are harvested and pickled and used to promote resistance to curses.

This plant is also known as "false pennyroyal" and is a member of the mint family. If this plant is picked in the right conditions it can be used in a potion that will allow the drinker to take the appearance of another person.

The eggs of this creature are used in potions to enhance mental abilities. Each head has it's own function. One makes the decisions, one is the dreamer, and one is the critic.

The roots of this plant are powdered and used in a rather advanced potion. Harry found that the words written in the margins of his textbook were instructions for improving upon this potion.

The eyes of this animal are sold at the apothecary shop for 3 knuts per scoop and are used in many potions.

the largest of this animal is internationally famous. Lockhart told Hagrid how to remove one from a well. The only way to render one of these docile is to bridle it.

this is the final plant/animal
