There will be SIX different points-earning activities in Spring Break 2010, plus some social activities which don't earn points. Each activity will be posted separately, at different times throughout the weekend, and will have separate activity requirements and deadlines. All will run at least twelve hours, and there will be at least one Spring Break activity open at every moment of Hogsmeade. You can earn a maximum of 10 points/5 knuts per event, according to the rules posted with each individual event.

Participation Bonus
In order to allow for as many people as possible to join in the fun, there will be activities posted at different times, and for different lengths. All activities will be over twelve hours long, but you may not be able to participate in every event. So Spring Break 2010 will work a little differently towards the participation bonus. You may participate in as many of the six points-earning activities as you like, but you may only count it THREE TIMES towards the participation bonus. That means if you're going for the super exclusive award banner, you only need to do THREE of the six events. So don't worry if one's completed before you have a chance to participate, there will be six events to qualify in.

Other Participation Bonus News
As part of their Adventure Month, the Animagus comm will be hosting two activities, but you may only count it ONCE towards the participation bonus. So you can miss one of them and still obtain the banner.

* The Dance does earn points, but does NOT count toward the participation bonus, as it runs less than 8 hours.
