^_^
Heres another entry from me. I wanted to pimp out a series of stories that I thought were out of this world found here.

It starts with Harry Potter and the Psychic Serpent: In Harry’s fifth year he gets a snake with the Sight. Hermione's torn between Ron and Harry, who’s torn between her and Ginny, who's torn between him and Draco Malfoy, who's torn between her and loyalty to his father. Plus: a Prophecy, Animagus training, a Dueling Club, Snape's Penseive, kilts, giants, house elf liberation and more!

Goes on to Harry's 6th year in Harry Potter and the Time of Good Intentions: During his fifth year, Trelawney did a Tarot reading for Harry. She told him he would have to make a choice that could "change the world as we know it." At the beginning of his sixth year, Harry chooses, and the world does change. Does it change for the better? If he wants, can Harry change it back? Or is giving Harry exactly what he wants Voldemort's ultimate revenge? The sequel to Harry Potter and the Psychic Serpent.

And ends in the explosive climax of his 7th year in Harry Potter and the Triangle Prophecy: Harry's 7th and final year of school. In a time of uncertainty, the Muggle world has found a source of comfort and stability. Only Harry suspects that it isn't safe. Wizards are more concerned about themselves than Muggles since Voldemort's return, but are only Muggles at risk? Will anyone listen to Harry? He must decide whether to make a sacrifice that will change him--and the wizarding world-- forever.

Through out this time new friendships are formed, relationships change, and angst is had. I've read the stories more then once and still find them entertaining and exciting. I do warn that by the end tissues will be needed for some.
Also these are all written pre-OotP...

i'm in the process of making a picture with all the DA members in it (using Candybar dolls) the DA kids would be in muggle clothes instead of uniforms on the pic... but i want to credit whoever made the list on his computer. i don't remember your name, dude. also thanks to corinne (sparkleblsm) for your link... i've been using another site but i just wanted to credit use of your site for my own personal hogwarts dolls (uniform ones). so umm if anyone thinks they can give me some ideas to add in i'd be pleased to consider them.

Maybe it's just me in Ravenclaw... but I always seem to find myself in situations where the women dominate (*smack* no dirty thoughts!).

Seriously... in university, I was in a course which had a 7:1 girl to guy ratio (English and Communication)... in role-playing communities, there's a frightening number of women... many of whom get to be in charge, and they tend to be feminists with a real hatred for men... *shudder*

... but I think it's here where I go days without even SEEING another guy. I guess it's hard to tell sometimes... a lot of the girls use Harry Potter/Snape/Malfoy icons, but they scream 'fangirl' to me.

So... Yo! You guys are around, right? Tell me I'm not alone here. What got you into the series... was it a girl, your own interest, the best seller list, or...? What kept you on?

I'll have to admit, I only started reading the series because a girl that I shared many interests with nagged me about it... CONSTANTLY. When book 4 came out and made the bestseller list (since I worked at the bookstore at the time), I figured... what the heck, use the employee discount and get the entire series. I finished all four books in a day.

I wasn't particularly impressed with the movies... and I hardly remember book 5 at all. I guess what I found fascinating is the marketing aspect. To me, it's not really an AWESOME series (hey! I didn't say it sucked!), there are others I think more worthy of that title, but the publicity and marketing involved (maybe it's the timing)... that's something to pay attention to.

As for the girls in the community... is it just me, or are there hardly any guys here? Why do you think that's the case?

One, if you're in Slytherin please drop by the house site. I'm a total ass-clown and only you can help me (and us).

Two....(now stop me if this isn't proper hogsmeadeweekends posting)

LET'S BUILD A SNOWMAN!
Let's build a snowman!
We can make him our best friend.
We can name him Tom or we can name him George!
We can make him tall, or we can make him not so tall.
Snowman!

He'll have a happy face, a happy smile, a happy point of view.
If you build me a snowman, then I'll build one for you.

Here's my snowman... )

What's yours like?
