i thought this game was fun back in august so lets have another go...what do ya say? the way it works is that someone says a word. the next person has to start their word out with the last letter of the first word. heres an example incase i dont make any sense what so ever

second word: Narcissa Black

I once saw a site that compared various characters of Sailormoon to the characters of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Therefore, I'm going to start a game here. Compare the characters of Harry Potter to some fandom.

I'll start off with Buffy the Vampire Slayer vs. Harry Potter
(Some are a bit of a stretch, but I did what I could)

Unfortunatly a lot of the links in this don't work anymore...but here is a list of various Harry Potter food recipies. It's more of a discussion question really. I'm not sure if this is uh.."proper" here but delete it if it's not.

We all know that Veritaserum is the 'truth potion'. We also know that in courts (real life), etc. you are asked to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help you god. So why don't the Ministry, when questioning suspects of crimes or when someone's on stand in court, use Veritaserum? Even only a drop would make you tell the truth. 3 would make you tell all your deepest secrets.

I.E.-Sirius Black. He was taken in by the Ministry and just thrown into jail. If they had used Veritaserum, they would have known the complete truth.

So my question is, why doesn't the Ministry use Veritaserum when questioning 'suspects' and the like?

That's been on my mind for a while now, and I thought this the perfect time to ask, n'est-ce pas? :D
