Hey everybody! I've got a real treat for you artists out there! There's a java applet called oekaki that a lot of japanese sites use for doodling (I'm sure you've seen/heard of it in some way/shape/form!), and many sites have them and use them as message boards. It's really fun, and I've decided to open mine up for you guys to use to draw Harry Potter themed art!

I thought it would be nice to give back to the community and all that jazz, you know? Oekaki is REALLY fun, and I encourage everyone to at least go and take a look! Please post! And if you have any questions about how to use it, comment here ^_^.

i'm a little rusty as i've FINALLY just gotten photoshop back on my system, but in re-familiarizing myself with the program i seem to have produced a few icons. i work on weekends, so i don't know how much time i'll have to make any more, but i figured i'd go ahead and post what i've got in case i don't have time later. ^_^;

OK, so there have been a lot of icon posts [which are all fabulous!] But I've wanted to ask this in Hogsmeade for a while:

Do you think that the movies have served justice to the books? What do you expect for the 4th movie?

Why do you think Luna Lovegood was placed in Ravenclaw? Do you think it will be relevant to the plot later in the series?

Why was Cho sorted into Ravenclaw? As I have read about her in the fifth book, she really does not strike me as someone intelligent. Do any of you know why she was placed there?

I was thinking about the Hp books, which led me to thinking about my other favorite books. My favorite books ever, are The Song of Ice and Fire series(A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, and the next is about to come out this month) by George R. R. Martin. I think that these are the best books ever. What about everyone else?
